Civil & Heavy Equipment Operator Training

Civil construction sites run a mix of heavy equipment that most generic safety courses do not cover in any depth, including excavators, wheel loaders, backhoes, skid steers and compact track loaders. We train and evaluate your operators on the actual machines they run, not a simulator or a demo unit at a training center.

Training covers pre-use inspection, safe operating procedures, load handling and the site-specific hazards that come with working around trenches, utilities and other equipment. Operators are evaluated hands-on before we sign off on their certification.

Because civil equipment training overlaps so much with excavation work, we often pair it with competent person training for the same crew in a single visit. It is a practical way to get your operators certified and your excavation supervision covered in one scheduled session instead of two.
